Cyclone

High-Inertial Pre-Collection

High-Efficiency
Cyclone Separators

ADFC High-Efficiency Cyclone Separators utilize centrifugal vortex dynamics to separate heavy, coarse, and abrasive particulate matter from air streams before reaching primary fabric baghouses.

Australian Dust & Fume Control designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of energy-efficient cyclones suitable for all industries. The cyclonic vortex action causes heavy dust particles to discharge at the bottom cone while clean air exhausts through the top vortex finder.

Serving as high-capacity pre-collectors upstream of fabric baghouses, cyclones remove over 95% of coarse wood shavings, timber chips, and abrasive grit, preventing bag tears from flying sparks and reducing dust loading on downstream filter media by up to 90%.

  • Removes 95%+ of coarse particles and abrasive grit before primary baghouse filters
  • Functions as an effective spark arrestor to protect downstream fabric filter bags
  • Available with replaceable Hardox or ceramic wear liners for abrasive minerals
  • Completely passive operation with zero moving internal parts and minimal maintenance

Technical Advantages

Engineered Features
& Capabilities

Designed and manufactured in our Wetherill Park facility to deliver zero-downtime air pollution control and strict WHS compliance.

High-Inertial Tangential Inlet

Aerodynamically contoured inlet scrolls maximize vortex rotational velocity with minimum static pressure resistance.

Heavy Wear Liners & Hardox Steel

Available with replaceable abrasion-resistant Hardox or ceramic tile liners for handling abrasive ores and quartz.

Spark & Ember Trap Protection

Quenches flying sparks and hot embers upstream, preventing baghouse fire hazards in metal grinding and wood sanding.

Zero Moving Internal Parts

Virtually zero maintenance requirements with no filter media, compressed air, or mechanical drives to service.
